WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP?
As friends and allies of Israel, outside of Israel, we can:
- Share Resources:
- Share experience, expertise, wisdom and best practices for integrating refugees while respecting the needs of the absorbing population.
- Leverage resources we are already sending to Israel and infrastructures that already exist (such as infrastructure available for the settlement and integration of olim) to support the healthy temporary integration of African asylum seekers.
- Send additional resources to Israel to aid with refugee integration (financial resources, human resources, professional resources) and with the resettlement refugees outside of south Tel Aviv, supporting both refugees and the communities integrating them.
- Share in Refugee Resettlement:
- Help to resettle some refugees from Israel in our own countries and communities. (Called "burden sharing" in refugee law.)
But it order to do that we need Israel and our own local leadership to #LetUsHelp!
